Learning German and TestDaF

Language skills are not only necessary for your studies. Knowing German is also important for your life outside the university. It will help you master daily life, participate more intensively in German society and significantly improve your chances of making contact with others.
When you apply for a degree programme at a German university, you will have to submit certificates confirming your German proficiency. Of course, this shouldn’t be the only reason to learn German. Even after you’ve passed a language examination or achieved the necessary test results, you should continue working to improve your German.
How can I learn German? How much German do I need? How can I improve my German? How do I prepare for TestDaF? Which study materials are really good for the TestDaF? How long is the TestDaF certificate valid?
The experts are Katja Reinecke (DAAD German Lecturer, Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil) and Martin Pauli (TestDaF-Institute), they will answer your questions in English and German.
