“24th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum”
OSCE meeting on strengthening good governance, contributing to stability and security
Government representatives and experts from 57 countries of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) and 11 partner countries and representatives of international organizations and of civil society, science and industry come together in Berlin to explore good governance in the economic sector, labour migration in the OSCE area and opportunities of strengthening stability and security through closer cooperation.
The meeting will be opened by the Special Representative of the Federal Government for the German OSCE Chairmanship in 2016, Gernot Erler, and the coordinator for economic and environmental activities of OSCE, Halil Yurdakul Yiğitgüden. It is part of the 24th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum. Keynote speakers include Peter Eigen, chairman of the board and founder of Transparency International, and Denis Simonneau, Director of European and International Relations of the energy supplier Engie and Chairman of the Commission on Corporate Responsibility and Anti-Corruption of the International Chamber of Commerce.
